Why exact file size matters
Photo portals often publish limits in KB while operating on bytes. A result that looks close in a file manager can still be rejected, so every successful download is checked against the exact target byte count.
How the browser-only model works
Your browser reads the selected file, performs any required re-encoding in a worker, and creates a temporary local download URL. The site does not need an upload endpoint or image database.
The supported first-release formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP. We prefer an honest unsupported-format message over a conversion that loses animation or transparency unexpectedly.
What the tool does and does not promise
The product is designed for file-weight requirements, not retouching or image restoration. Increasing the number of bytes cannot recreate missing focus or resolution, and aggressive reduction may reveal compression artifacts. The interface explains which strategy was used so the downloaded result is not presented as a quality enhancement.
